After a trip to Gaudi's park, I used some of the images from postcards there. In addition, I have used the plastic from a museum bag and some water bottle labels.

A trip to a small flea market yielded this 3D card from the 50s. You cant see how much the image pops out in real life. Roses play a big part in the history of Catalan, the name for Barcelona prior to colonization. I used the label from the Vichy Catalan, a chamomile tea bag tag and some chocolate wrappers along with an image from our hotel, H1898.

My first day in Barcelona.  The Cataluna culture is strong.  The Alnigavers were from the 13th century.  I have used the images from our hotel, some flag stickers and my boarding pass to make this piece.

We arrived in Barcelona this morning. This is a map of the Las Ramblas area where our hotel is. The drawing in front of the map is of the Gaudi Towers.

Gold foil from candy wrappers is my other favorite collage material besides
Washi Tape. I used this with cellophane tape designed with black tracery
designs. Mushrooms, Flowers and Werthers Originals. Bon
Voyage. Leaving today for Barcelona.
