Tiki Man did not really know how he had gotten to the mainland of America. He remembered lying flat on his back in a boat for a very long time. But now he was lined up with statues of American heroes. Next to him was Franklin D. Rooseveldt and beyond him was Woodrow Wilson. Was this the dead president's row? Perhaps not, since James Cook and Leif Erikson were both dead explorers. He had started at an exhibit at Hemisfair, but that had been long ago. Now he was stuck between the statues, the Navajo Jewelry, a Big Horned Ram, and the Gisha Girls. He remembered when he had resided in a field of sunflowers. The man's dog had left his paw prints in the soft mud. Now the sunflowers and the other flowers were a faint memory. On the other side of the building the Black Ensemble was singing Hallaujah in a vigerous manner. Would they notice him? Stuck back there? The American Pendulum Clock continued to move and he continued to stay very still.
